Butterfly Birthday Greetings

Hey there!

Today I wanted to share with you this butterfly birthday greeting card I just posted.

I adore using butterflies in my creations. This fabulous image is by the awesome company Gina K Designs. I actually stamped the butterfly on beautiful pattern paper by Stampin Up and cut it our from that. That is how I achieved that amazing look. This card is layered using cardstock and pattern paper by Stampin Up.
I used "faux" pearls in the center of the butterfly and on the edges.

Do you like to stamp? I also just listed some Stampin Up sets in my etsy shop. I also sell Ippity Stamps via my crafty blog. Ippity is a fabulous new company with superb quality like Stampin Up but Ippity is all unmounted on cling foam. I simply love unmounted because it saves so much room and they come less expensive. All you need is an acrylic block and off you go.

Any comments, suggestions or requests let me know!

Thanks and till later....

Get Crafty with Rubber Stamps

Today is Monday and every Monday I participate in Ippity Blog Hop Mondays. What is Ippity you may ask? Well it's a fabulous rubber stamp company! Ippity is a spin off of the Unity Stamp Co which I have loved for a few years now since they opened! Ippity is a rep based company and I'm proud to say I'm an Ippity Chick!

So if you want to get crafty with some rubber stamps be sure to swing by my Ippity page and check it out.

Here is something I made for the Ippity hop. It's a photo keeper folder, perfect in size to store photos. I used little "details" cards to put inside so you can write down all the details from the event. Save these photos until you are ready to scrap them or just use this folder as a safe place for your photos. This holder is definitely cuter than those plastic photo holders you will find. And what a great way to give a gift of photos to a grandparent or someone you love.

Inside:

I am thinking of adding these little gems to the store soon. What do you think? They measure approximately 4 1/2 x 6 1/2.

I'm always open for some thoughts and ideas so feel free to let me know what you think.

Thanks and till later.....

Ippity Fun

I hope everyone had a fabulous St. Patty's Day yesterday! I made this fun card for an online challenge at a rubberstamping site called Splitcoast Stampers.

I used an Ippity Set called Music of the Heart. The chickie is glittered up for some glam using Rangers Stickles in diamond and lime green. Why does lime green sound awful? Because it's not really that awful. I've been seeing alot of that color in the papercrafting world and it's fabulous. The base I used here is an Olive Green by Stampin Up and the darker color is a chocolate chip by Gina K Designs. Both are top quality fabulous cardstock. My flowers are Prima flowers and the buttons by Stamp Up.

Here is a closeup:

This cutie has not yet made it to my Etsy Shop but may very soon. What do you think should it go into the store?

If you like stamping or if you are interested I'm an Ippity Chick or in other words a rep for the rubber stamp company Ippity. Come visit my Ippity page on my crafty blog here for more info and feel free to drop me a line with any questions.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Miki Eats Cake

I added some yummy pink glitter to the cake to make it sparkle. This fun card has multi layers to it and uses top quality card stock and pattern papers by Stampin Up.

Bird Sond Pendant

Today I wanted to share with you the item that is actually my avatar! It is called my Bird Song Pendant. When I wanted to try my hand at more things for the store I thought of making pendants with some of the super cool designer papers that I have for stamping/scrapbooking. This started with a wooden heart that I picked up at a craft store, here is the result:

I was really happy with how this turned out. This first photo is a photo that made it to Craft Gawkers . The pendants I offer in my shop all start from a wooden base which I paint and add all the decorative touches. The top is a seal of a crystal lacquer which gives it dimension and shine.

Here are a few more photos:

My pendants come with a nice cord and can easily be replaced with your favorite chain.

Thanks for stopping by today for a little glimpse into my Etsy Shop!

Butterflly Mosaic

Today I wanted to feature another greeting card from my shop called Butterfly Mosaic. I love the butterfly images, they are always so beautiful and elegant.

This piece is made using some fantastic stamps by Gina K. Designs. The background is a intricate paper pieced background. The different patterns you see were all hand cut out and then adhered to the design. The actual background design you see is a stamp which is very cool.

Here is my Butterfly Mosaic:

This sits on a black base for a card but I used white cardstock inside so you do have some nice writing space in a white color. All my cards otherwise are not stamped on the inside they are blank.

Here is a close up of the butterfly:

Well that's it for now.

Greeting Cards

My main reason for starting my shop were my greeting cards. I have been rubber stamping/papercrafting for over 10 years now! So I thought it was time to start my store with my fun card creations.

I wanted to start sharing items that are listed in my store with you. Here is my Sleeping Bunny card:

This cute little bunny is indeed fuzzy in texture. I love to add texture and layers to all my cards. Check out his tail and ear, that is fun glitter which adds alot of glitz to the bunny. Gotta have some bling.

Here is a close up of this adorable bunny:

Stay tuned there will be lots more. As always I would love to hear from you feel free to leave me a comment or send me a convo via Etsy.

That's it for now.

Ria Creations on Etsy

Welcome to my blog for my Etsy store Ria Creations . I started this blog as a way to showcase some of my items and ideas about my Etsy store.

I started my shop about 5 months ago and have been loving making and adding things to it. It originally began where I wanted to share all the cards I make as well as some supplies I would like to see get new homes. Since that I have also added some fun gifts i.e. pendants (charms) for necklaces and fun magnets.

I am also very much involved in the papercrafting world and serve on a few design teams. I have a blog dedicated to that also called Ria Creations. This title I may have to slightly change so not to confuse anyone. But I would love for you to check it out, many items you will see me post there will end up in my shop. So if you visit and find something you think is worthy for the shop please let me know.

As always I would love to hear your thoughts and suggestions for my shop. Always trying to keep up with it and improve it anyway that I can.

Thanks for stopping by!

I hope that you will come back again soon!
